Default Deleting a character you played for hours

Have you ever done that?

If so, how long did you play your character and why have you trashed him/her?

I got an elementalist to borlis pass before I got sick of being forced to use fire for the first 3/4 of the game and trashed it. Now I want another one because I don't have to but have a monk in it's spot.

Deleted a lvl 20 warrior with about 150 hours on him. Not so much a biggie, but i forgot to take the stuff of him and consequentially lost a fair bit of cash, and a Perfect Furious Chaos Axe of Fortitude req 8 :S.

deleted a lvl 12 e/me because I didn't like the playstyle and having to use fire all the time like mentioned before. Also, deleted a w/mo lvl 20 because after the titan quests I really just got bored with it and wanted to try other more interesting things, didn't really like the playstyle too much either, made alot of money before deleting though which was nice. Deleted a n/w lvl 20 because it was my very first character and didn't know too much about playing a necro at the time, saved up enough money for my other characters though. After getting ascended I thought it was time to delete and try new things, made another necro later on, which I really like playing alot better than the old one because I now know what I'm doing. Now I have a necro, monk, mesmer, and a ranger all level 20 and passed hells precipice. I'm just trying to figure out which one I will delete next.

Deleted 100s of hours played on Ele because I didn't use him enough in PvP (this was when support E/Mo's weren't popular) then made a Ranger, got drok and perfect runes and deleted him to start again with my friends (who stopped playing soon) , then started again and got 15k and stuff on him and he's happy.

I haven't deleted any of my PC's yet (which is the only reason I don't have a monk). I'm just not willing to part with any of them yet.

Deleted my first character, ele, who was level 16 in Maguma Jungle, because I wasn´t happy with my secondary proffession or the name I´d chosen. I created a new ele and the very first step I take in Pre-searing I see a guy saying in the main chat that you can change your sec. later in the game...

Actually, I've deleted so many characters that I've played "hours" that I've lost count...

However, most of them were "hours" in single digits. I did delete my very first character, who was a w/me. I had already spend many hours on him but still had difficulty figuring out how to play him properly...

I deleted my second character, a Mo/E, and she had gotten up to Drok's the hard way, with no skiped missions. Only recently did I see the error of my ways and remade the character as a Mo/R. She has now completed the game.

I've deleted and started over many sub-lvl10 characters, but I have a hard time letting go of the higher level characters. I have a W/Mo20 that is almost ascended, but I don't really like the warrior gamestyle anymore, I like playing support characters more. I'm tempted to replace her with a necro, but I think I'll just wait for factions and make one ritualist and one necromancer.

I have deleted about as many as one can imagine. I just recently deleted an E/r and a W/mo, both lvl 20. Didn't like them. I am not attached to my chars, because I find it very hard to play anything but monk.

Nopes never will cause the ones I made, were made if careful thought. If one got deleted it would be like part of the family died.

I've deleted Two 20's. First character, Keyboard Commando (R/Mo), because he wasn't getting any playing time and I needed the slot to try out some new things... made a W/Mo ^^. Then I deleted my Me/Mo named Man Man Man Man Man because mesmer primaries are pointless in pve imo to make a N/Me.

Currently have W/Mo, Mo/x, and N/Me::Mo

Pvp slot ftw.
